Hieu has over 19 years of experience in the field of development projects, performance improvement, corporate governance, risk management and information systems in Vietnam and the UK. Previously, Hieu was a Senior Adviser at the Department for International Development of the UK (“DFID”) in Vietnam. He advised the government and large Vietnamese corporations on governance matters, process improvement and financial system implementation. Prior to DFID, he was a manager in PwC Management Consulting.

Hieu holds a MBA degree from Vietnam’s National Economics University.

Mr. Michael Fam has over 20 years of experience working in Vietnam and Russia as professional advisor in tax and legal, investment for multinational corporations and leading domestic corporations of Vietnam and Russia. He has served for 10+ years as a member of the Boards of Directors and management teams in the fields of investment, investment management, manufacturing, trading, construction materials, logistics and e-commerce. Michael has successfully led PetroVietnam investments overseas; Beeline Telecom’s investment in Vietnam; Sovico & Vietjet expansion; Coteccons’ M&A activities with foreign & domestic investors.

Huy Mac has 28 years of experience in financial advisory, investment banking, auditing, and accounting. He is the Founder of MAC CAPITAL Ltd, a boutique investment advisory firm. Mr. Mac is also a BOD member of Trường Thành Energy & Real Estate Group (TEG) , which is a multi-industry business engaged in Renewable Energy and Real Estate. His experience also includes 9 years at KPMG and 5 years at Lehman Brothers/Nomura, followed by 8 years in C-level roles at MB Securities JSC (MBS) and KB Securities Vietnam JSC (KBSV).

Quynh Do is a finance and investment expert in Vietnam with many years of experience in banking and financial services, as well as in the development of Vietnam’s capital markets. He currently serves as the Secretary General of the Vietnam Bond Market Association (VBMA). At the same time, he is also an independent, non-executive board member at several companies. He holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of FiinRatings for the 2024–2028 term.

Previously, he held several senior leadership roles including Deputy CEO of Sovico Group, Chairman of HDCAPITAL Fund Management Company (2022–2023), and Managing Director at VNDIRECT (2020–2022). Prior to that, he spent 22 years at BIDV Headquarters in various roles ranging from credit officer, treasury trader, head of treasury business, General Director of BIDV International Hong Kong, and Director of BIDV’s Treasury and Capital Business Division.

Minh Khong has over 20 years of experience in investment management, financial services, and the Vietnamese capital market. He is the Investment Director at Jaccar Fund, a private investment fund focusing on state-owned enterprises and leading private companies in Vietnam across various sectors such as F&B, oil and gas, logistics, infrastructure, real estate, and industry, with a portfolio value of $300 million, including both listed and unlisted companies. In 2020, he joined FiinRatings as a member of the Rating Committee. He has previously held the position of Senior Investment Analyst at Manulife Vietnam and has managed financial investments at several other organizations, including HSBC.

Thuan has over 18 years of extensive experience in the field of financial advisory services, due diligence, corporate in a number of sectors. Previously, Mr. Thuan was Senior Investment Analyst at Vietnam Holding Asset Management with AUM of US$125mn specializing in Public Equity, Private Equity and SOE IPOs (2007-2008).Before that, he was a manager at Transaction/Deal Services of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Sydney, Australia and Vietnam (1999-2007) advising various M&A deals and private equity transactions in Beverage, Construction Materials, Packaging and Healthcare.

Thuan holds a MBA degree from the University of New South Wales, Australia and is a fellow UK Chartered Certified Accountant (“ACCA”). Thuan is CEO of StoxPlus Corporation.

Dustin has over 7 years of experience in audit, investment and M&A advisory, and leads deal advisory engagements at Nexus Group.

Prior to Nexus, he was Investment and Partnership Specialist at G-Group Technology Corporation (2022-2023). Before that he spent over three years at EY Vietnam (2019-2022), rising to Audit Senior, where he led audit teams under VAS and IFRS, handled tax reviews and took part in reviewing major M&A transactions and fair value models.

Dustin holds an MSc in Finance and Investment with Distinction from the University of Bristol, awarded the Think Big scholarship, and graduated top of his class in Auditing at the National Economics University. He is an ACCA Affiliate.

Ha has been with the M&A advisory team of Nexus Group since 2022. Her work covers market and industry research, preparing teasers, company profiles and information memoranda for target companies, and analysing their financial and operating information.

She also takes part in financial and strategic consulting assignments, client meetings and on-site business visits, supporting transactions from preparation through execution.
